The Trial of the Millennium

 In case you hadn't heard...

We may be headed for the Trial of the Millennium. The Trial may determine whether the U.S. continues as a Constitutional Republic in the form of a Union of States.

The State of Texas shocked the world on Monday night by suing the states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan over the 2020 election. The Supreme Court will hear arguments that the way those four states conducted their elections was contrary to the United States Constitution.

Because it is a suit between States, the suit has filed in the only place it can be filed: in the United States Supreme Court.  If they choose to take the case, they will be the first court to hear it. They will not rule on appeal. There is no appeal from their decision. Because it is an original case, they can accept evidence. They can hear witnesses who will be sworn in and cross-examined by both parties. Normally they would not do this. They would simply rule on whether a lower court had properly followed the law. Here they are the law.

What can the Supreme Court do, if they take the case, and after hearing arguments and evidence? That's up to them to decide. They could do nothing, literally, even if they find fraud in the election. But they probably wouldn't.  but it certainly seems within the realm of possibility that they could disqualify the electors from the four states being sued.  Such a move would almost certainly result in Trump being declared President at some point.

The mainstream media is completely ignoring this.

As of now, seventeen other states now have joined Texas by filing briefs in the lawsuit supportive of Texas. The liberals think the Supreme Court is going to toss the suit without hearing it, because the whole thing is an absurd attempt by Trump to delay his defeat. What they think doesn't matter.

Donald Trump has intervened in the lawsuit, meaning that he has joined as plaintiff.

This is for everything, although I agree with Wictor that Trump still has other ways to win, if this doesn't work. But it would be great for the country if it did.

This is going to play out in the days ahead. Supposedly the Supreme Court will decide by tomorrow afternoon whether to accept the case. If they accept the case then no one knows how long it will take, and what will be revealed. Trump will reveal enough to ensure victory, I'm sure.

Buckle up. At some point the mainstream media won't be able to ignore this. They may be in denial right up to the decision by the Court.  But this is reality. They live in a fantasy world. The two worlds are colliding. Either Trump or Biden will wind up as President out of it.
