Follow those more inside than you.
The Establishment is thus well nested. Smart people are the ones with a good sense of the the gradient that points towards more inside. The Establishment is thus nested like many layers of the onion. Ultimately this works because everyone agrees who the ultimate insiders are. They may be somewhat invisible to the general public, and better so, but ultimately if you follow the trail towards inside, from any direction in society, you will find up at the same nucleus of individuals. The fact that this has come about in the United States means that we have successfully adopted a ruling class.
The group of ultimate insiders is very small. It changes little over time.
Where did it come from, in the United States? For once upon a time, in America, such class of people existed here. It had to be created.
