Meanwhile in Bernieland

More than a few Bernie Sanders supporters still think he will make a strong play for the nomination next week in Philadelphia, and that he still has a chance to win. They think his endorsement of Hillary was a pro forma requirement to be allowed to keep his delegates and to speak. Of course it is. This is Hillary's show.

Among other things, this shows Hillary's incredible weakness and insecurity as a candidate. Contrast this with Trump, who actually welcomed Cruz to speak without a prior endorsement, no doubt setting the trap that the idiot Cruz walked right into, and turned his political career into sawdust.

The DNC, in all its "democraticness", first wanted a bended knee from Sanders, or else he couldn't get near the podium at all, and his delegates wouldn't even be seated. At least, this is how I'm reading the discussion among the #BernieForever folks. They believe that fraud was committed in the election. They don't want to wait another cycle. A lot of them actually want to see Hillary burn.
