Hillary Clinton will not debate Donald Trump on stage together. This is a prediction that is gaining ground among Trump supporters on Reddit. They expect she is going to find a reason to back out. As evidence, they use the fact that she hasn't given a press conference in over seven months.
I happen to think they might be right about this. It is well known Hillary does better the more she stays out of the public eye. Since about 95% of the Democratic campaign rhetoric now consists of "all hands on deck to stop Trump, no exceptions," this week's RNC was actually Hillary's convention too. Unfortunately for her, she has to have her own convention next week as well, which is only going to hurt her, probably, and kill the momentum of anti-Trump panic that Democrats are feeling lately.
But that doesn't mean she has to debate the guy! I personally think she would be wise to avoid it.
