This is the test, this moment. This is the test of everything we believe in.
It is a test for the nation--for us collectively--and for each one of us individually.
Is Trump who his detractors say he is, or who we think he is? If the former, then this will not go well. If the latter, then we will win. Is he is the greatest spymaster who ever lived? If so then he anticipated exactly what has happened. He probably encouraged it, through his own agents, to lead his enemies right into his traps.
If he is not who we think he is, then we lose everything, We lose the nation. We fall into slavery and bondage.
But if he is who we think he is, then not only will he win, he will do so in a such a way as to destroy his enemies. This will be far better than if he won an outright electoral-map-sweeping victory on election day, as I thought he might. This will be a victory that never allows anything like what happened to happen again.
In order to achieve this he had to lead us into this place of doubt. Everything had to be risked. Everything had to be put on the line. Yet even Trump is a mortal man, and we live in a corrupt world. So this is also a test of our faith in God. It is a test of Providence that we, His faithful servants, can cry to God in our anguish and that our prayers will be heard in heaven. It is a test our belief that no matter what happens, God is in control, and that His plan, for us, for the nation, and for the world, is greater and more magnificent than anything we could possibly imagine or design.
